Death Wish Kids - There's Nothing in School They Can't Teach you on the Streets 7"

One of my top ten 7"s of the 90's. They hailed from Seattle and played incredibly fuzzed-out, nihilistic hardcore, backed by Andrea's livid vocals, that I'm sure was insanely refreshing at the time.  The sound of teenage kicks, breaking shit, and drinking in concrete rooms. The members' future bands, whether or not you like them, are not relevant to the fury of this 7".

Location: Seattle, WA
Label: Hopscotch Records
Year: 1995

  1. this was a good release when it came out. but the area 51 single was even more intense. duel vocals. area 51 split and most of the band went into death wish kids. also of note in the "era" would be the unabombers single. Funny how raging the dwk and unabombers records were compared to their next project Murder City Devils... always thought mcd was too similar to Laughing Hyenas... but both have their high and low points I guess.
