Bayonettes - Dead End Kids b/w American Song

Toronto's BAYONETTES are relatively well known from their three 7"s on Deranged - all of which are great - but a couple of their best songs are some of the first ones they wrote/recorded.  One of these is "Guilty Pleasures," originally on their demo, but finally/posthumously put to vinyl in re-recorded form a few months ago.  The other is "Dead End Kids," which could very well be the closest I've heard any band get to the AVENGERS sound and spirit, plus I'm a sucker for punk bands with hand clap parts. It was the band's first vinyl release, and one of the first records released through the Art of the Underground Single Series, and these two factors combined are probably responsible for there only being 250 of them, which is understandable, but still a crime considering how amazing these songs are.
